PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Prior to joining CGA in 2016, Jim worked extensively in Columbia and Jefferson City. He served as project manager for the State of Missouri, Division of Facility Management, Design and Construction for seven years. He managed historic preservation projects at the Missouri State Capitol and the renovation and historic preservation of buildings 75 and 78 at the Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. Jim also managed capital improvement projects including prisons and veteran facilities.

At Columbia Associates, Jim’s project experience encompasses recreational facilities, Boone Hospital renovation, schools, a daycare center, condominiums, an art studio, and fire stations. 

At The Architects Alliance in Jefferson City, projects Jim managed include a church youth building addition, a beer distributor, a radiology clinic, a law office, a daycare center, and multiple retail projects.

Jim enjoys the variety of responsibilities required by managing multiple projects at different phases of design. He is experienced in each phase from project launch to ribbon cutting and is a tremendous asset to CGA.
