Christina brings 25+ years of experience which includes client programming, space planning, material selection, graphic design, brand development, and community advocacy. Her involvement in a project begins with the proposal. RFQs provide insight into the client’s culture and brand essence that will be utilized throughout the project.
Her interior design experience coupled with her marketing background results in spaces that are client focused and brand enhancing. She was lead designer on Crazy Llama Coffee. The interior palette and materials were inspired by the culture, and llamas, she encountered during her travels in Peru. Christina also lent her talents in brand development to the Jolly Fox Brewery. She worked with the client to create a strong brand identity for the new brewery and that provided a basis of design for the interior.
At Joplin Schools, Christina helped plan and market all events surrounding the design, construction, and openings of new facilities built post tornado: 14 community safe rooms, JHS-FTC, Irving Elementary, Soaring Heights Elementary, East Middle School. She also designed the district’s administrative offices in downtown Joplin. Her observation of learning environments provides a unique perspective from which she designs bold spaces that promote a sense of school pride among students and staff.
Christina is proficient in LEED design principles promoting healthy, energy efficient, cost-saving green buildings. While at American Ramp Company she developed “Green Skate” – sustainability standards in skatepark design and construction and wrote and implemented company-wide sustainability goals.
Christina’s range of expertise contributes to every phase of a project in ways that elevate our projects and ultimately the client experience.
