PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

After graduating in 2006, Amanda began her career at George Butler Associates in Lenexa, becoming proficient in AutoCAD Management, Construction Administration and Project and Office Management. She then worked briefly for Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City, before returning home to southwest Missouri.

Amanda’s experience prior to joining CGA includes involvement on notable projects such as the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Springfield, Musheireb Development, Doha, Qatar, and Verizon Communications, Hammond, Louisiana. Since arriving at CGA in 2012, Amanda has contributed to many projects, including Leffen Center for Autism, Cornell Complex, Jolly Fox, Crazy Llama, and Cardinal Scale. She has also helped with numerous projects for Pittsburg Community Schools, Joplin Schools, Wyandotte Nation, and Ozark Center. As well as working on Historic Restorations such as Pennington Apartments, Olivia Apartments, Downtown YMCA Apartments, Pearl Brothers and many more!

She is the master of planning, code compliance, and FEMA regulations. Her laser focused attention to detail is an asset to the team, especially when field verifying details on renovation projects and in construction administration. Amanda enjoys the challenge of reconciling code requirements and design elements to achieve aesthetic goals envisioned by the designers.
