PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Erica Aldridge is a Utah State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture & Design. Since joining CGA in 2023, she has approached every design challenge with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. Her unwavering belief in her abilities and her willingness to take risks and push the boundaries of traditional design have helped her stand out as an up-and-coming innovator in the design field.
Erica believes that great design is all about creating meaningful and memorable experiences for people. With a passion for creativity and a deep-seated desire to succeed, she has spent her academic career exploring different cultures and philosophies to better understand the human experience and translate that knowledge into her work.
As someone who is equally comfortable with digital tools and hand-rendering techniques, Erica is able to bring her designs to life in a variety of mediums. Her ability to 3D model is a particular strength, allowing her to accurately convey her ideas to clients and collaborators. Furthermore, Erica’s dedication to environmentally conscious design is evident through her certification as a LEED Green Associate, underscoring her commitment to sustainable practices and the integration of green design principles into every project she tackles.
Erica deeply understands the impact of design, a sentiment encapsulated by her favorite quote from John Cary’s book Design For Good: “This is how design functions in our lives – like the soundtrack that we’re not even fully aware is playing. It sends us subconscious messages about how to feel and what to expect.” With a dedication to excellence and a passion for success, Erica continues to shape the future of interior architecture, leaving an indelible mark on each project she touches.
