The 8,325 sf addition at Kelsey Norman Elementary ensures that all Joplin Schools students have access to safe, quality, and equitable learning environments district-wide. The project includes:

• Expansion space to alleviate overcrowding and elimination of modular classrooms on site (trailer)
• Shared learning park area to serve a multitude of student, parent, and staff programming
• 3 classrooms and a special education suite
• Operable classroom walls to provide for flexible learning opportunities
• Exterior play space improvements and school garden
